This Edition's theme is "Machines".
The profile of the collaboration between the human and the artificial will be traced, the challenges posed by the advent of artificial intelligence will be discussed, as well as changes in work and, in general, in social relations.
From 34 thousand participations in 2001 to over 206 thousand in 2019. Number speaks for themeselves!
Great results for a great initiative of public pedagogy and modern communication of knowledge, which brings philosophy to three Emilian cities, with important cultural, social and economic effects.
This year's edition will be, as every year, live but will be adopted all the protocols and devices for Covid-19 emergency, to ensure safety for people and operators.
Participation in lessons will be free, but online booking will be required.
The theme of the festival will be dealt through lectures, exhibitions, installations and meetings, but will also be re-proposed in the traditional philosophical cuisine. It is a project born 20 years ago from an idea of the philosopher and gourmet Tullio Gregory. Restaurants and wine bars will propose menus obtained and created by linking the theme "machines" to the dishes of the Modenese gastronomic tradition.

Il tema di questa edizione sarà "Macchine".
Argomenti principali saranno: la collaborazione tra uomo e macchina, le sfide poste in seguito all'avvento dell'intelligenza artificiale e i cambiamenti che questa ha, inevitabilmente, apportato nel lavoro ma anche nelle relazioni sociali.
I numeri parlano chiaro: 34 mila le partecipazioni nel 2001, 206 mila nel 2019!
Un grande risultato per un grande evento di moderna comunicazione del sapere, che diffonde la filosofia nelle piazze delle tre città emiliane. Gli effetti culturali, sociali ed economici sono di notevole importanza.
Anche questa edizione sarà dal vivo, come tutte le altre, ma saranno adottate misure, protocolli e dispositivi per l'emergenza Covid-19, e le per partecipare alle lezioni sarà necessaria la prenotazione online.
Il tema di quest'anno sarà affrontato con lezioni, mostre, installazioni, incontri, ma anche attraverso la tradizionale cucina filosofica. Ristoranti e wine bar proporanno dei menu, dove la tradizione si ricollega al tema "Macchine".
