From 13th of Sept 2019 to 6th Jan 2020 it will be possible to admire, in the Exhibition Hall of the Estense Galleries of Modena, The "Read" exhibition by Steve McCurry, one of the most internationally celebrated photographers, which presents 70 images dedicated to the universal passion for reading.
The images show people reading, books or newspapers, in different contexts: from the places of prayer in Turkey, to the streets of the markets in Italy, from the noises of India to the silences of East Asia, from Afghanistan to Cuba, from Africa to the United States.
Photographs are accompanied by a series of literary passages chosen by Roberto Cotroneo, words dedicated to books and reading.
Dal 13 settembre 2019 al 6 gennaio 2020 sarà possibile ammirare la mostra "Leggere" del fotografo americano Steve McCurry.
Sono 70 le immagini dedicate alla passione universale per la lettura, le quali ci mostrano persone assorte nella lettura di libri o giornali, e i contesti sono i più vari: dai luoghi di preghiera in Turchia, alle strade dei mercati in Italia, dai rumori dell’India ai silenzi dell’Asia orientale, dall’Afghanistan a Cuba, dall’Africa agli Stati Uniti. Le fotografie sono accompagnate da una serie di brani letterari scelti da Roberto Cotroneo, parole dedicate ai libri ed alla lettura.
